How TFD sensitivity works

The First Descendant does not scale in a straight line from zero, so doubling the setting does not double your turn speed. Use the converter instead of multiplying by hand.

In The First Descendant turn speed scales with field of view, so a wider FOV turns you faster at the same setting. The converter has an FOV field for The First Descendant: enter the FOV you play on and the result accounts for it. Tables on this page use the default FOV of 90.

TFD sens converter FAQ

How do I convert my sensitivity to The First Descendant?

Pick your current game in “Convert from”, choose The First Descendant in “Convert to”, then type your sensitivity and DPI. The converter matches your 360° distance, so the same swipe turns you the same amount. For example, Valorant 0.4 is 5 in The First Descendant at the same DPI.

What is 6 TFD sens in Valorant?

A The First Descendant sensitivity of 6 equals 0.464 in Valorant when you use the same DPI in both games. At 800 DPI that is 35.2 cm per 360° turn.

What is a good sensitivity for The First Descendant?

There is no single best value, but most players settle between 25 and 60 cm per 360°. In The First Descendant at 800 DPI that is a sensitivity of roughly 5 to 7. If you already aim well in another game, convert that sensitivity instead of starting from scratch.

Does changing DPI change my The First Descendant sensitivity?

Yes. A higher DPI makes the camera turn faster at the same setting. Because the The First Descendant slider is not proportional, you cannot simply halve the number when you double your DPI. Enter the new DPI in the converter to get the right value.
